In contrast to coaching, consulting also relies on the consultant's expertise in topics such as intercultural competence and communication. I also make this experience available to clients in an educational way.
However, different cultures do not only differ in language and origin. Different social classes and even different professions within a country, with people of the same ethnological origin, reveal cultural differences between these people, which could not be more different. This inevitably leads to a feeling of alienation between them.
This feeling of alienation that people who have little in common feel for each other is fundamentally responsible for the fact that people cannot communicate constructively with each other if they do not have the right tools to deal with it.
Commercial enterprises:
The current shortage of skilled workers and managers is leading companies to recruit from abroad. However, working together in a team of employees and colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures often leads to challenges, not only of a linguistic nature, but also due to cultural differences in the form of values and traditions. These differences, which can bring challenges, need to be transformed into strengths for the entire team and the company.
This is where the Intercultural Competence Training and the associated coaching from Touré Consulting
comes into play. I am firmly convinced that intercultural competence greatly increases the success of collaboration in intercultural teams or intercultural consulting settings if those involved can acquire, internalize and access this knowledge.
Group seminars for acquiring intercultural competence:
- intercultural faux pas
-communication training
- Reflection of one's own cultural characteristics
